After the long wait applications will open this Friday, October 14th at 7 PM for our Vendors, artists, and Makers for CYPHACON 2023.

A few critical changes have been made in regard to this year’s event. As we continue to grow and learn from our setups so do our procedures for signups for booth spaces. Critical of this is of course our amazing Vendors and artists who understand and support our convention.

Now to the few announcements.

PRICE INCREASE: Prices have increased slightly from 2022, the reasons are both economic and venue related. For 2022 we kept our vendor’s pricing set at 2019-2020 pricing norms. Since then going into this coming year pricing increases were not on our mind.

However, as we continued to look at the other events in and around Louisiana adjustments were made to help us be competitive in our market. In addition, the increase is only modest we did not feel we should justify a considerable increase over last year. This being said the growth is to offset the delayed cost increases which will be in effect at the Civic Center in 2023. In order for us to put on the show, we promise these changes had to be implemented for 2023.

POWER OPTIONS: The power boxes available at the Civic Center will be limited due to the newer adjusted layout planned for 2023. We of course understand and accept that most of our vendors and artist would like or require power near their booths. However, for 2023 we simply cannot provide this to everyone at this time. In addition, we have also decided to NOT charge for power once again for 2023. So if you are requiring power for actual booth use to power lighting to other equipment we will do our best to accommodate.

SIGNUP AND PAYMENT: Finally the biggest change, we are going to strictly adhere to our policy of signups and no refunds. If you sign up for a booth, you only have a short amount of time to pay for your booth space. Last year we had an enormous response for last-minute vendors to fill slots up. We want to ensure that if you apply you are indeed ready to pay.

With this, our form is now ready to be reviewed. This packet is filled with all the important information and deadline dates for our event. Guests announcements will be coming in the next few weeks and we cannot wait to show what we have planned.
